1. Description of Service

AI TypePro is a smart keyboard application for Android that provides:

• Standard keyboard input functionality
• Language assistance and text correction
• Optional AI-powered writing features (Rewrite, Smart Fix, Translate, Summarize, Smart Reply, and more)
• Visual customization and theme options
• Subscription-based premium features

AI features require an active internet connection. The keyboard functions as a standard keyboard without internet access, but AI features will be unavailable.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age for digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use AI TypePro. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Account & Authentication

To access AI features and subscription management, you must sign in using a Google account via Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activity conducted under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Free Tier & Subscriptions

4.1 Free Tier

All users receive a free tier that includes:

• Full keyboard functionality
• 5,000 lifetime AI words (non-renewable)
• Access to all AI features within the word limit

4.2 Pro Subscription

Premium subscribers receive:

• Pro Monthly ($4.99 AUD/month): 100,000 AI words per month
• Pro Yearly ($39.99 AUD/year): 150,000 AI words per month

Subscriptions are billed through Google Play. Google Play's terms and refund policies apply to all purchases.

4.3 Billing & Renewal

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period
• You retain access to premium features until the end of your paid period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through Google Play Store → Subscriptions

4.4 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Google Play in accordance with their refund policy. We do not process payments or refunds directly.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use AI TypePro to:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations, without refund.

6. AI-Generated Content

You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated text may contain inaccuracies, errors, or unexpected output
• AI output should be reviewed and verified before use, especially in professional, legal, medical, or financial contexts
• You are solely responsible for how you use AI-generated content
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI output
• AI features are tools to assist you — they are not a substitute for human judgment
• AI output may be subject to content filtering by the AI provider and may not produce results for all inputs

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Rights

AI TypePro, including all code, design, branding, and content (excluding user-generated content and AI output), is the intellectual property of AI TypePro and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

7.2 Your Rights

You retain full ownership of:

• Text you compose using the keyboard
• AI-generated output created through your use of the service

We claim no ownership over your content or AI output generated for you.

7.3 License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use AI TypePro for personal or authorized business use, subject to these Terms. You may not sublicense, resell, or redistribute the application.

8. Service Availability

We strive for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. AI features may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Network connectivity issues on your device
• Scheduled or unscheduled server maintenance
• AI provider outages or rate limits
• Cost protection mechanisms (budget limits)
• Emergency safety measures

The keyboard will continue to function as a standard keyboard during AI service outages.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AI TypePro and its operators shall not be liable for:

• Loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities
• Business interruption or productivity losses
• Inaccuracies in AI-generated content
• Decisions made based on AI output
• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Damages arising from unauthorized access to your account

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the use of AI TypePro shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AI TypePro and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you create, share, or publish using AI TypePro

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to AI TypePro if:

• You violate these Terms of Service
• You abuse the service or engage in prohibited activities
• Your account shows signs of fraudulent activity
• Required by law or legal process
• We discontinue the service (with reasonable notice)

You may stop using the service at any time. Cancellation of a paid subscription does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.

12. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes:

• We will update the "Last Updated" date
• We will notify users through the app or by email
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance

If you do not agree with updated terms, you should stop using the service.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the use of AI TypePro shall be resolved as follows:

1. Informal resolution: Contact us at support@aitypepro.com — we will attempt to resolve the matter within 30 days
2. Mediation: If informal resolution fails, the parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing other remedies
3. Courts: If mediation is unsuccessful, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Victoria, Australia

14. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies rights or remedies, or any guarantee, warranty, or other term or condition implied or imposed by the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) which cannot be lawfully excluded or limited.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AI TypePro regarding the use of the service.
